Last Week's Fitness

This was Week 3 of my training program. I missed the Wednesday workout, so it was on the lighter side of fitness.

Monday 7/7: REST DAY!!!!!!!!
Tuesday 7/8: HIIT at the parking garage <--- Today kicked my butt!!
Wednesday 7/9: Missed my alarm to get to the AM Workout, Queen+Adam Lambert instead of PM
#SorryNotSorry
Thursday 7/10: 30ish minutes on the bike trainer
Friday 7/11: Rest Day
Saturday 7/12: 2 mile run/walk. It felt super hot and gross out (even at 8am!) so this one wasnt as fast as the 4th of July run/walk :( but the runs were in the 11s so not too bad.
Sunday 7/13: 1.25 Miles, A walk from my Apt to my parent's new house to check out the construction. Looking Good!!!!!

Today is another rest day and then back at it tomorrow.

Back to Fitness

After taking a 6 month break (wasn't supposed to be that long) following the Aramco Half Marathon Jan 18th, I finally got back to being active. Big plans have been made to stay active and new challenges are being considered.

I rejoined my favorite local running group, www.gottarunkaty.com and these past 2 weeks have really kicked my butt!

Here is last weeks break-downs

Monday 6/30 Glorious Rest Day!

Tuesday 7/1 Parking Garage for HIIT Workout and Incline Repeats
                    Today focused on Strength Training

Wednesday 7/2 Parking Garage for HIIT Workout and Incline Repeats
Today focused on Legs and Core

Thursday 7/3 A very great Yoga session to stretch everything out

Friday 7/4 Virtual 4 Miler race for Team RWB. It was a chance to slowly ease back into running with a nice .25 mile walk run combo. I even surprised myself with a decent(for me) pace on the run sections. In fact looking back at my splits, the run segments were faster towards the end of the 4 miles.

Saturday 7/5 My Brother was giving my mom a Training session and Matt and I tagged along, It Seriously Kicked My BUTT!!!!! 3 Miles on my bike trainer

Sunday 7/6 Sick/Rest Day

Not bad for my 2nd week back to fitness. Since yesterday was another rest day, today will start off this week's activities. Hopefully I wont be too sore!!!
